Birthday cake was awesome , well done on a days notice

You can't go wrong getting anything from Schulte's. My favorite bakery of any I've visited; it's like visiting grandma's kitchen when she's baking pastries.

Stopped in to get a few dozen cookies from these folks in late September 2017 and they were the nicest people I have ever met. Learned all about the business and where the recipes came from. They are an excellent example of great people, in a small town, making an awesome product. I am from Michigan and the next time in am in the area, I will be back! If you are within an hour or so (or more) of this bakery, you must give it a try. YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED.

Best donuts in town. Nearly as good as the Donut Stop in South county.

Best donuts in WashMo hands down. The bourbon pecan coffee is frighteningly addictive.

The staff was friendly, smiling, and helpful. They have great coffee and words cannot describe their donuts!! FABULOUS!!! MOUTHWATERING!!!! AND DELICIOUS!!!!

Best pastry shop on Franklin county, if not all of Missouri. You won't find a better donut anywhere this side of the state, nor cheaper. They've been in business so long, it's not hard to see why. Great people make great products. Keep it up guys!

Wonderful local bakery. Had them make a sheet cake for my one year anniversary of purchasing a house in Washington and they went above and beyond in the decoration. My kids really got a kick out of it. Their glazed donuts are always excellent as well!

The chocolate iced donut filled with whipped cream is to die for. Also the glazed donut holes are awesome and the lemon Danish. From the past I know that their blueberry bagels are awesome but unfortunately they didn't have any. Great place! You can go inside or you can get curbside service.

We needed a birthday cake the we had originally planned on going to told us last night they had weekends mixed up so we had 2 hrs to find someone and schultes was it at last minute they came through and deliverd as promised the cake was awesome and delicious and we made the party on time I definitely recommend them to anyone we will use them the future very nice people and good customer service

The best donuts in town, they can sell out fast so go in pretty early in the morning if you want some.

The best bakery for miles around. Their donuts are to die for, and their amazing cinnamon rolls are nearly the size of your face. This is a spot that I come back to every time that I visit my home town! The best!

Local owned bakery with awesome cheese Danish, fried or baked glazed croissants, coffee cake, donut twists, ect. Get a cup of coffee or milk and go down and enjoy the riverfront!!

Great blue berry fried pies. Donuts were huge. They made a cake for my birthday which was not what I asked for.nothing was right about it other than the amount of layers. I was so disappointed on my birthday. It was nothing like what I asked for. I ordered it Tuesday to pick up Thursday at a specific time. I had to wait an hour because it wasn't ready. Since it wasn't made right two layers fell off on the ride home. That destroyed the happy birthday writing. If they didn't know how to make the cake I wanted why didn't they just say so. I have driven to Chicago for the same cake from Iversen's bakery in blue island. I drive back to St Louis and it didn't fall or slide off. Well suffice it to say there was no singing Happy birthday this time.

Not only delicious, but a good value, friendly service. And if you want a filled donut that is not out, they will make you one! If donuts were as good for us as vegetables, this would be an every week stop!

Every time i walk in i feel like a little kid all over again! Amazing selection and good prices! The only thing i would advise is the earlier you get there the better cause they can get cleaned out prettt quick

Schulte's did my sweets table for my wedding this past weekend and did such an amazing job! I worked with Lori and she was so accommodating and said Yes to basically any idea I shot her way and it all turned out amazing! They even did a donut cake for our wedding and a family birthday party we had the next day! Family members are texting me saying they wished they snuck some donuts home with them! Highly recommend!

I drive all the way from St Charles Missouri to get doughnuts from this bakery, their apple fritters are the best!!!

Great small town bakery; excellent filled donuts that were almost cake-like and not greasy. Danish with nice fruit fillings and tasty cheese; very much like small bakeries of years gone by. Very nice people, good service...highly recommended!

Needed a cake for a 50th at the last minute,called 4 different places with no go,i called here and they were very friendly and pleasant,took my order exactly what i wanted,this all last minute,omg it was so moist and delicious,everyone was happy with it,and the cookies,oh my,so yummy,i highly recomend and will be telling all,will defentally go back

We found this place on our way to the Washington fair. Definitely worth stopping for. It reminded me of the bakery we went to when we were kids. Friendly staff and delicious pastries!

Drove to Washington from Pacific just to go get donuts. The donuts we got were the day olds and still really good. A dozen of day old was around $6.50. It was worth the little road trip. 1 particular donut was amazing. The cream cheese Danish. I should have gotten more than 1.

LOVE LOVE LOVE this place. I really can't say it enough. They did a small cake and a bunch of donuts for our wedding at Hermann Hill on 10-18-19 and OMG it was the cutest and most delicious spread. The prices were fair and the service was great. We live in St. Louis but communication was a non-issue. Next time we come to Hermann we are stopping by to get a donut!

Guess its a washington thing. But we came by this morning. My kids custard donut tasted spoiled. Didnt look like any home made custard or store bought I have ever seen. It looked curdled.. I made her throw it out. I got chocolate cake. Not impressed at all. Not good. And it smelled funny when we walked in. Its a no from me. Yuck.

Excellent, home-style baked goods. Extremely friendly. A must-try for anyone new in town! They even have a snack shop for coffee lovers.
